For quite some time now, my long-time friend and I have been kicking around the idea of starting a website that collects some of our more shareable ideas and allows me to harass my friends in a more modern style than a weekly email. Recent circumstances have eliminated most of the usual impediments to taking the plunge, so here we are launching with an idea that I am beginning to regret even before pressing play on Hulu.
I have managed to avoid seeing any footage of The Bachelor so far this season. I've listened to a few podcasts that recap it, particularly from Channel 33, but this post represents a different experiment. In order to get back into the conversation, I'll be watching every episode of this season of the Bachelor. Consecutively.
So far, that includes nine episodes, which at two hours each would be eighteen hours minus commercials. It has been a few years since I last watched The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, but if memory serves that will leave me with about 2 hours of material to watch. This is one of the worst ideas I've had in the past five or six days, but I do have a pitcher of margaritas and plenty of moral support to accompany me on this descent into madness. Let's pour the first drink, kick back, and press play.
