I don’t want to live in a world where Ryan Tannehill starts in a Super Bowl, but that timeline is looking us in the face. At least we can count on Patrick Mahomes as our champion in the fight against darkness.

Three games under .500, seven games to go. We’re taking the teams who looked like the best in the league all year to cover and the underdogs against their less-impressive opponents. Two road, two away. In the oft-on-television words of JJ Watt: “Let’s Go!”

With only four games on the slate this weekend, I should be relieved to have so much free time. Instead, I took about as long picking these four games as I usually do all sixteen. Let’s see if Buffalo, New England, New Orleans, and Seattle can push us over .500 for the year!

Putting on the prognosticator cap for one more full slate of 16 games this season. 9-7 gets us back to .500 for the year, while anything better pushes us over the top!

Three games from earlier this season that I never figured out: the Browns’ 15-point win over the Ravens, the Seahawks’ demolition of the Cardinals, and the Packers’ easy win over the Vikings. Now we have a chance to re-pick all three!
